The annual Eve Carson Lecture presented by the Carolina Women’s Leadership Council this year in partnership with the Will Froelich Fellows will be a part of the Tar Heels Together speaker series “Tar Heel Talks”. The lecture will feature Karen Parker ’65, who was the first African American woman undergraduate to attend Carolina. She went on to have an illustrious career in journalism and worked in newsrooms across the country. This lecture will be held virtually on Wednesday, December 2nd at 5:30pm.
